Today is a new day filled with so much learning and experience. I am happy that the objectives and the direction of this Part 2 lessons in Curriculum Development is close to ending and its fulfillment. It's the application of all the theories we have undergone. It is the curriculum designing and innovation in Science and Mathematics Education. Identifying the problems in the K-12 Curriculum that needs redesigning or innovation for improving learning or remediation to enhance learning in Science and Mathematics. Also, the conduct of needs assessment to point out what design or redesign is needed to answer the problem. and Lastly, develop curriculum design or innovation to address the problem.

I can say that the facilitators for today have successfully shared and synthesized their specific objectives. Teachers Kennette Arboiz and Luis Bryant Canino have shared the final part of Theoretical and Content Consideration for Curriculum Change with the main objective: Explain the basis for subject matter content and for organizing subject matter presentation.

It is important to learn that a lot of things must be considered starting with the subject matter content. The feasibility, learnability, self-sufficiency, significance, utility, validity, and interest are some factors to consider. The subject matter content is also organized by developing and sequencing grade levels and objectives, bearing SMART goals - is it measurable, specific, compatible with the target objectives, realistic or attainable, and are the materials for instruction appropriate and available? These are some things to consider. Is it good and better if implemented in full force, can it be learned within the schema, will it be useful, can it be learned independently, is it significant and relevant, and also, is it authentic and meaningful to the learners?

According to T.Robbins, a motivational speaker, "setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible." We may see what the future lies in the field of curriculum development if we set our goals parallel and bearing SMART objectives.
